The Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team was defeated by Norwood 32-28 Monday night.
Blanchester, 4-3 on the year, gave up 18 offensive rebounds to the young Indians, coach Tom Greve said.
Brayden Sipple led Blanchester with 17 points.
Trenton Czaika added 7 while Brody Rice and Brian Miller had 2 points each. Rice grabbed a team-best 11 rebounds, Sipple had 7 and Czaika hauled in 5. Sipple also had 4 steals and 4 blocked shots.
