WAVERLY — The East Clinton wrestling team won seven of 11 matches Wednesday in a three-team event at Waverly High School.

The Astros won five of six against Waverly as Chris Rider, Cooper Rack, Zach Vest, Michael Horn and Owen Roberts all won by pin.

In the next round against Albany Alexander, East Clinton came out on top in two matches. Rider had a pin and Curtis Singleton won by injury default.

East Clinton will host its annual dual tournament Saturday with wrestling starting at 11 a.m.
