ADAMS TOWNSHIP — A first inning base on balls was the only blemish for Clinton-Massie in a 14-0 win over Hillsboro Monday in South Central Ohio League softball action.
Taylor Florea overpowered the Lady Indians with a no-hitter while striking out eight in the five-inning game.
At the plate, the Lady Falcons pounded out 14 hits, led by Florea and Kelsey Carter who had three hits each.
“Girls played another great game tonight,” CM coach Anthony Lauer said. “We are getting a little more comfortable now that we’ve played a few games. We continue to hit the very well. We were fortunate to get this game in before the rain came in.”
Clinton-Massie is now 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the SCOL.
Ashlie Miller hit her first homerun of the season, a blast over the left field fence.
