Darrell Coley, right edge of photo, who is pastor of Sabina Baptist Church, could be heard Saturday evening saying to passers-by, “Like some cotton candy? It’ll make you smile.” And sure enough, when he handed a heaping helping to Mya Breckel, left foreground, she smiled with her entire face. The church had a tent at Family Fun Days where members distributed free popcorn, Sno-Kones and cotton candy.
A section of North Howard Street in Sabina (State Route 729) was shut down for Family Fun Days on Saturday in the village’s downtown. The weather cooperated and many residents turned out for the hometown event.
The Sabina Police Department canine named Fussia attracted a lot of favorable attention at the event. The police dog’s handler is Cpl. John Grehl.
The area musical group Back in Time Express delivered a performance at the Family Fun Days. The Sabina Municipal Building is in the background.
Children kept this clown busy twisting balloons into animal forms and other shapes.
A kid-size version of a tractor pull was conducted in downtown Sabina by the Greene County FFA Alumni.

Family Fun Days in Sabina on Saturday evening offered opportunities to chat, eat, visit vendors’ booths, let children enjoy bouncy houses and more. It was a good time.
