WILMINGTON — An open reception will be held for Stella Boring, whose 100th birthday will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The reception will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), located at 120 Columbus St. in Wilmington.
