SR 380 lane closures

Bridge work requires various lane closures on State Route 380 between New Burlington and Roxanna New Burlington roads, according to ODOT.

Lane closures will be in place daily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, June 4-5. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.

Port-Liberty meeting

The Port William-Liberty Township Joint Fire and EMS District will hold a special meeting on Monday, June 8 at 1 p.m. to open bids for 2B Sanitary and 16A Electrical and other business that may come before the board.

Planck earns degree

Sandra Planck of Martinsville graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies and was also named to the 2020 spring semester dean’s list at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
