Clinton County Homeless Shelter’s Donation Center to reopen

WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Homeless Shelter is reopening its Donation Center Drop-Off in Wilmington on Monday, July 13.

Donors can pull into the driveway at 390 West Main Street (the Darleen Myers building) and the donation shed is to the left once they pull in. It is located right behind 382 West Main.

The time for Donation Center Drop-Off for small items is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please place small items in the donation shed.

For large item drop-off, please call prior to drop-off. The phone number is 937-382-7058.

The following items are not accepted: Wheelchairs, portable toilets, cans, crutches and walkers; televisions; car seats; stuffed animals; King- and Queen-size mattresses; hospital beds; head/foot boards; sleeper sofas; futons; exercise or sports equipment; paint; tubs, showers, doors, cabinets, and carpet; board games; and used or opened items such as underwear or swimsuits.

The time for Donation Center Pick-Up is daily from 10 a.m. to noon. Everyone who lives in Clinton County is eligible to receive donations.
