In the Clinton County Municipal Court case listings in the News Journal Aug. 11 (online Aug. 10), a case was listed for Carliss R. Smith Jr. for August “2020.”

However, due to an error by the municipal court (which the court has confirmed with the News Journal), apparently 10 years ago the year “2020” was typed in error rather than the correct “2010”, so the case was actually completed 10 years ago on Aug. 6, 2010 — not 2020 — and just now showed up in current court cases.
