Blan hosts Skate Night

The Blanchester Police Department facilitated its July Skate Nightin downtown Blanchester with around a dozen skaters in attendance, many of them members of the Clinton County Skatepark Association. Also in attendance were a good number of youngsters on bicycles and scooters, as well as spectators. Complimentary food was provided by Ron’s Place and assistance in set-up and tear-down was provided by the Blanchester Parks and Recreation Department. The next Blanchester Skate Night will be on Wednesday, Aug. 12. All skaters are welcome, regardless of where they live. Partial funding for these events is provided by a donation from the Clinton County Skatepark Association.
