WILMINGTON — Work is complete on replacing the roof at the Clinton County Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore on West Main Street in Wilmington.

The roof was damaged in a wind storm about a year ago, and insurance funds are being utilized for the replacement. T J Thompson Construction kindly performed temporary repairs until the insurance claim was settled. They then did the replacement work.

The ReStore sells new and recycled items at discount prices. It is a significant source of income for the local Habitat for Humanity work, as well as encouraging recycling in the community. Local businesses also donate materials to the store for sale.

Habitat is very grateful to all those who donate materials or time to the ReStore, along with those who shop there.

Income from the ReStore helps contribute to the local Habitat mission to build simple decent affordable homes for people in need within the Clinton County community.

The ReStore is located at 1032 West Main Street. Its hours of operation are Wednesdays from 4:30 to 7 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The phone number is 937-382-7605.
