County down to Level 1, but more snow on the way

Clinton County has transitioned to a Level 1 Snow Emergency Wednesday morning, according to the Emergency Management Agency.

There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) to 1 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, with snow expected and total accumulation of 1 to 3 inches.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
