WILMINGTON — Thirty-five volunteers converged on two areas around downtown Wilmington on a cold Saturday morning to help clean up a winter’s worth of litter.

Organizer Annen Vance said she was very pleased with the turnout as volunteers removed 82 bags of litter from the woods, seven bags of litter from the two walking routes, and 200 tires.
