Master Gardeners plants sale set

WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Master Gardeners will hold their annual springtime plants sale on Saturday morning, May 15 at one of the livestock barns on the Clinton County Fairgrounds.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 15 in the Sheep Barn at the fairgrounds so that attendees and participants will have the room to maintain physical distancing.

Available for purchase on-site will be annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants.

The Clinton County Master Gardener volunteers program has been in existence since 1995. The Master Gardener program is still going strong with volunteers very active, providing education, service and beautification throughout the Clinton County community.

The Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program provides intensive training in horticulture to interested Ohio residents, who then volunteer their time assisting with educational programs and activities for residents through their local OSU Extension county office.

Garden Club to hold plants sale

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Garden Club will hold its annual plants sale on Saturday, May 8 at the Clinton County History Center. All plants are $2 each (cash only, please).

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon.

“We look forward to seeing you there,” said a Wilmington Garden Club member.

The Clinton County History Center is located at 149 E. Locust St.in downtown Wilmington.

The Wilmington Garden Club is affiliated with the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, Inc.
