Modern Woodmen of America teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to help raise funds for Habitat’s building projects.

Habitat hosted a golf outing at Snow Hill Country Club on Friday, July 30. Funds raised through the outing totaled $12,845.14. Modern Woodmen matched up to $2,500 of the fundraiser to bring the total proceeds to $$14,345.14.

“We were pleased to partner with Habitat for Humanity as we appreciate the values of this organization in helping to build homes for families in need,” said Modern Woodmen District Agent Dan Mayo. “We are grateful for all they do to help families in Clinton County.

“Modern Woodmen seeks quality organizations to work together to make its communities a better place to live. Our Matching Funds program is one of our feature programs in accomplishing this objective.”
