Community Action has new van for county’s senior citizens

Clinton County Community Action recently accepted delivery of a handicap accessible van to be utilized by the Wilmington Savings Bank Clinton County Aging Up Center for Clinton County seniors in need of accessible transportation. For years, there has been a need for accessible transportation for seniors who reside outside the Wilmington City limits to get to appointments in Wilmington, as well as outside of Clinton County. Funding for the vehicle was provided through a grant from ODOT with the local match requirement provided by HealthFirst of Clinton County. Individuals needing transportation can contact the center at 937-382-7170.
