Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Board of Clinton County Commissioners proclaimed Breast Cancer Awareness Month to help increase public knowledge about the importance of early detection.

Each year, over 43,000 women and 500 men in the U.S. die of breast cancer.

There are about 3.8 million survivors of breast cancer in the U.S. today — a testament to the survivors’ courage as well as to awareness, research and treatment.
