UPDATE #2 — OSHP: Xenia woman killed, Clarksville man seriously injured in Massie Twp. accident

MASSIE TWP., Warren County — A Xenia woman was killed and a Clarksville man suffered serious injuries in a crash on Harveysburg Road north of Wilmington Road in Warren County Tuesday, according to the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

At 12:05 p.m., the OSHP was notified of a one-vehicle serious injury crash. Upon arriving on scene, units found one of the occupants was deceased and the other occupant had life-threatening injuries.

A 2005 Chevy was southbound on Harveysburg Road. The Chevy’s right side tires drove off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected, lost control and drove off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top, in the roadway. Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle.

A female was identified as Abby Lee Brown, 42, of Xenia, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A male occupant was Richard Sholler Jr., 30, of Clarksville, who was found suffering from life-threatening injuries, the OSHP stated.

Medics on scene performed CPR on the male and were able to regain a pulse, and he was transported by CareFlight medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Troopers were assisted on scene by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident remains under investigation by the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
