Donald Trump to hold campaign rally in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (AP) — Donald Trump is scheduled to campaign in Ohio next week with a rally in Cincinnati.

The Republican presidential candidate’s website says the rally will be U.S. Bank Arena on Oct. 13. Trump and Democratic rival Hillary Clinton were in Cincinnati in September to address an American Legion convention. Clinton returned to Ohio on Monday for a campaign event in Toledo.

President Barack Obama is scheduled to attend the Ohio Democratic Party’s annual state dinner in Columbus on the same day as the Trump rally. Clinton’s campaign has said Obama will lead a “get out the early vote” rally in the Cleveland area the next day.

Trump and Clinton are in a tight race for votes in the battleground state. No Republican has ever won the White House without winning Ohio.
