BLANCHESTER — A Midland man was arrested after Blanchester police say he damaged two of his girlfriend’s cars after an argument.

According to Police Chief Scott Reinbolt, on Sunday evening a Blanchester resident reported that she and her boyfriend, Robert Powell, 28, of Midland had an argument, after which Powell damaged two vehicles belonging to her.

“One of the cars was parked at a relative’s home on Bland Avenue, the other was at a local repair shop,” said Reinbolt. “After kicking a dent into the door of the car at the Bland Avenue home, Powell then traveled to Mr. Wrench on West Main Street and kicked out the windshield of the car there.”

Powell was charged with two counts of criminal damaging. Reinbolt added that Powell is currently on probation through the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.

He will answer these charges in the Clinton County Municipal Court.
