The Southern Ohio Agricultural & Community Development Foundation recently recognized the recipients of the 2017-2018 Educational Excellence Competitive Grant. The Educational Excellence Grant is a one-time grant of up to $7,500 for college upperclassmen to be used toward tuition, on campus housing and lab fees to be used at an accredited institution. Applicants were scored by a committee on a combination of written essays and personal interviews. Shown, Loren Quallen of Clinton County was recognized at the event.
