Sheriff’s reports: Thefts and drug-related incidents

WILMINGTON — The following information comes from incident reports provided by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly proven guilty in court.

The sheriff’s office recently processed the following reports:

• At 9:12 p.m. on Aug. 14, deputies responded to the 100 block of Main Street in Midland on the report of a theft. A 47-year-old female reported that between Aug. 11 and 14 someone broke into their garden shed and stole several items. The report lists a bench vise, a 212 racing motor, and an upright drill press as stolen items.

• At 9:34 a.m. on Aug. 19, a 58-year-old Midland female reported her mail box at the 800 block of Lynchburg Road may have been destroyed the previous night by an unknown subject. At 3:54 p.m. later that day, another Midland resident, a 46-year-old male reported he saw a vehicle pull up to his mailbox at the 1800 block of Chaney Road and then sped away before the mailbox blew up.

• Deputies responded to the 1100 block of North Webb Road in Wilmington at 9:06 a.m. on Aug. 15 on the report of seven round bales of hay being stolen.

• At 2:51 a.m. on Aug. 16, deputies pulled over a truck on South South Street in Wilmington for operating without a plate light. According to the report, the driver was found to be driving under suspension. After further investigation, a 40-year-old Wilmington female passenger was found in possession of an unknown substance. The case is pending lab results.

• At 5:32 a.m. on Aug. 17, deputies observed a wanted suspect in a parked car at the 100 block of South Broadway Street in Blanchester. During the arrest, according to the report, a female subject became disorderly and was arrested. After further investigation, drugs, drug paraphernalia and weapons were located.

• At 11:37 a.m. on Aug. 15, a probation officer reported that he allegedly found a white powdery substance believed to be “ice” in the purse of a client.

• At 8:59 a.m. on Aug. 8, a female subject reported that she hadn’t heard from her adult daughter in several weeks and believes she is in danger because of drug-related problems and fears something bad has happened.

• At 10 a.m. on Aug. 19, a 58-year-old Wilmington female reported possible identity theft.

• At 1:01 p.m. on Aug. 19, deputies responded to a domestic dispute at the 1700 block of Shawnee Trace Road in Blanchester. According to the report, a 56-year-old male resident had apparent minor injuries.

• At 3:02 p.m. on Aug. 19, a 56-year-old Martinsville female reported a reciprocating saw was stolen from her residence at the 12000 block of State Route 134 South.

• Deputies responded to a criminal damage report at 5:41 p.m. on Aug. 19 at the 1100 block of Shull Road in Blanchester. A 61-year-old male resident reported someone damaged his gray Chevrolet Monte Carlo between 1 a.m. and noon.

• At 6:24 p.m. on Aug. 19, deputies found an unresponsive 37-year-old male with a syringe in his arm. The incident happened at the 100 block of West Champlin Road in Wilmington.

• At 9:25 p.m. on Aug. 19, deputies responded to the 4800 block of State Route 350 West in Clarksville on a domestic violence report. According to the report, a 27-year-old female reported that her boyfriend had head butted her in the nose causing her nose to bleed.

• Between 11:02 and 11:28 p.m. on Aug. 19, a juvenile was caught trying to pass a counterfeit $100 at two gas stations on U.S. 68 North.

• At 11:26 a.m. on Aug. 20, a 32-year-old Sabina male reported possible telephone harassment. The report does not list a suspect.

• At 6:39 p.m. on Aug. 20, deputies responded to the 900 block of State Route 73 North in Sabina to a burglary report. A 40-year-old male resident advised that some items were missing, including a pair of Nike Jordan men’s basketball shoes. A storm door was also reported damaged.

• At 6:47 p.m. on Aug. 20, deputies responded to a theft report at the 12000 block of State Route 134 South in Martinsville. A 56-year-old male reported that a reciprocating saw, a grinder, and a Behringer guitar were from his residence.

• At 9:10 p.m. on Aug. 20, deputies responded to a child abuse report. According to the report, a 12-year-old male was allegedly hit with a fishing pole, a water bottle, and grabbed by the back of the neck.

• Deputies responded to the 1100 block of Shull Road in Blanchester on the report of an assault at 6:08 a.m. on Aug. 21. Deputies discovered that a 31-year-old male provided misleading information and wasn’t assaulted. The male was later arrested.

• At 5:57 p.m. on Aug. 21, deputies responded to the 1000 block of Reeder Road in Blanchester on the report that several items were stolen from the residence. According to the report, a Sylvania DVD player, wooden handled folding pocket knife, and a flat-screen TV were reported as stolen.

• Deputies responded to the 7700 block of Famers Road in New Vienna at 8:31 pm. on Aug 21, on the report of a theft. A 53-year-old male resident advised someone stole his license plate. The report lists that it was taken between July 31 and Aug. 17.

Sheriff’s deputies recently charged the following people:

• Kandy Hernandez, 42, of Clarksville, was charged with alleged drug possession.

• William McCarren, 27, of Wilmington, was charged with alleged drug possession.

• Charles Inwood II, 46, of Wilmington, was charged with alleged drug paraphernalia.

• William Egner, 77, of Blanchester, was charged with alleged criminal trespass.
