BLANCHESTER — The Village of Blanchester adopted a resolution allowing Mayor John Carman to sign an agreement with Community Sanitation of Ohio (CSO) for collection and disposal of garbage and refuse.
This resolution would mean that the trash would be collected by the CSO. The decision was made after council members had looked into the group and agreed it was the best option.
Council member Cindy Sutton said that she and the other finance committee members agreed with choosing them after they called other communities using CSO.
Council member Chad Hollon told the council about an email conversation with CSO over a few concerns, and said Chris White, the president of CSO, answered all of them satisfactorily.
After the approval from council, Mayor Carman stated he looked forward to working with CSO and would release more information and notices on Facebook.
