WHS Key Club debuts

Wilmington High School’s newest community service club is the Key Club, sponsored by the Wilmington Kiwanis Club with faculty advisers Jomi Goodbar and Zachary Black. Officers are President Madison Adkins, Vice President Sophie Reed and Secretary Drew Spendlove. Key Club is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. The Wilmington High School Key Club’s first project was passing out more than 3,000 bottles of water in the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” in Dayton. WHS Key Club members also include Kalista Adkins, parents Rachel Adkins and Jenny Adkins, Aridessa Robertson, Sabrina Bowman, Chloe Millam, Alyssa Lewis, Emma Cline, and Wilmington Kiwanis President Vermon L. Dillon.
