WILMINGTON — Wilmington High School Theatre not only has a busy year upcoming; they also hope to receive enough donations during their September drive to upgrade their technology including lighting equipment.

“Sponsors help offset the cost of our high-quality productions, create funding for long-term projects, and allow us to purchase the necessary technology and equipment to enhance the theatre education of our students,” said WHS Theatre director Ken Lydy.

In the fall, WHS Theatre presents Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible”, set in Salem, Mass. in 1692; it tells the tale of grudges, fear and the human condition while dealing with accusations.

In March WHS Theatre takes a trip back to the fictional Rydell High School in the 1950s for the musical “Grease.”

The theatre season will finish with a spring production, the comedy ”Bad Auditions by Bad Actors.”
