Winter farm market honors military

WILMINGTON — The Winter Clinton County Farmers’ Market will recognize veterans and active military members of Clinton County during the two November markets on Nov. 3 and Nov. 17 at their inside location in the Community Room at the Wilmington City Building. The Winter Market is held 9 a.m.-noon.

All veterans and military members who present a current form of identification showing they are a veteran or active military to the market staff will receive a $5 token to buy products from our vendors. The market staff and vendors want to thank all those who have served or are serving our country on this Veteran Day month.

The market features vendors who offer seasonal produce, homemade baked goods, homemade doggie treats, herbs, and artisan crafts. All products sold at the Clinton County Farmers’ Market are locally home-grown or homemade within Clinton County or an adjunct county.

The 2018 Clinton County Farmers Market Kids Club continues during the Winter Market. Each time a Kids Club member visits the farmers market, they will have their “membership card” stamped and receive two $1 vouchers for purchasing fresh produce. Children are encouraged to become their own shoppers making selections of their favorite vegetable and to try something new.

Follow the market on Facebook or sign up to receive weekly emails to learn of special events and activities. For more information, please visit the market booth or contact [email protected] ,
