WILMINGTON — A Wilmington tradition returns soon as the Murphy Theatre prepares for the annual Phil Dirt and the Dozers concert on Saturday, Jan. 12.
This concert marks the Dozers’ 30th consecutive concert at the Murphy. As a ticket holder, there will be free appetizers, a cash bar and the opportunity to meet all the performers beginning at 6 p.m.
Phil Dirt and the Dozers have played all over North America, performing the hits of the Beach Boys, Eagles, Four Seasons and many more classic groups and artists.
As ABC News Bureau Chief Charles Martin wrote about the group: “Your show may have been one of the finest performances I have ever seen and heard by a band in the 50-plus years I have been in the broadcasting and music business! Thoroughly entertaining!Musically perfect! Thank you for providing great entertainment for my family and myself.”
Tickets for Phil Dirt and the Dozers are available online at www.themurphytheatre.org, call the box office at 937-382-3643 or stop by 50 W. Main Street 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The box office opens two hours prior to shows. Ticket discounts are available for parties of 20 or more.
