Pork Pride 4-H elects ‘19 officers

The Pork Pride 4-H Club met at Cuba Friends Church on Sunday, Feb. 10 with 36 in attendance. Member Jami Dailey called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. Mikala Hatfield led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Katie Pittman led us in the 4-H Pledge.

Election of Officers was then conducted. Officers for 2019 are: President Jami Dailey; Vice President Madison Bronner; Secretary Mikala Hatfield; Treasurer Katie Pittman; News Reporter Stanley Chesney; and Health & Safety Coordinators Greg Achtermann, Keifer Agnew and Taylor Garringer.

Mikala Hatfield gave the Secretary’s Report. Katie Pittman gave the Treasurer’s Report. Randy Pinkerton went over dates and important information.

Madison Bronner did a demonstration on her trip to the Grand Canyon. Keifer Agnew did a demonstration on a drawing of a waterfall that he did. Keifer’s drawing was beautiful. and both Keifer and Madison did a wonderful job on their demonstrations.

Fundraiser opportunities and community service were discussed. The group talked about t-shirt ideas.

The parents will do an online registration this year. Registrations have to be in by March 15. Dues are still $10.

The meeting adjourned at 7:18 p.m.

The group enjoyed wonderful snacks that the Katie Pittman family brought!
