WILMINGTON – Clinton Memorial Hospital Home Health Care — a provider of home health services for patients in Clinton County and the surrounding area — will transition to operating as part of a joint venture agreement between healthcare providers LifePoint Health, Clinton Memorial Hospital’s parent company, and LHC Group, a leading post-acute care partner for hospitals, physicians and families nationwide.

The agency is currently wholly owned by CMH.

Under its new ownership structure, CMH Home Health Care will have new opportunities to develop and grow its services to better meet the needs of people throughout Southwest Ohio region, according to a news release from CMH.

In its ongoing commitment to provide quality home health care to patients and their families, CMH Home Health Care will continue to deliver excellent patient care with the same local staff of highly trained home health professionals under the direct supervision of patients’ physicians. The agency will continue operating from its current location at 586 W. Main St.

“Home health care is vital in today’s healthcare environment, and there is a growing need for this kind of service in our community,” said Brenna Eldridge, director of CMH Home Health Care. “We are delighted to partner with LHC Group and LifePoint to explore ways to strengthen home health care, and further expand the support we offer patients and their families at home.”

The organizations expect CMH Home Health Care’s transition into the joint venture to be completed by December 1.

In 2017, LHC Group and LifePoint Health finalized a joint venture partnership to operate select home health and hospice agencies, combining the experience and expertise of both companies and creating new opportunities to develop and expand home health and hospice services in the communities they serve. The joint venture is governed by a board with equal representation from both companies.
