The Wilmington Hall of Fame Committee has selected three new inductees to the Wilmington High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
Quinten Rollins, Donna Seeger and Monica Howard will be inducted on Feb. 5, 2022 prior to the varsity boys basketball game with Dayton Stebbins.
Rollins is a 2010 graduate and a four-year member of the football and basketball teams at WHS. Quinten was selected third team All-Ohio in football and first team All-Ohio in basketball. He went on to earn a scholarship and play four years of basketball at Miami of Ohio. He also played a year of football at Miami after his basketball career had been completed. Rollins was selected in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. Rollins was a three year member of the Packers. He was also a member of the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers during his time in the NFL.
Seeger graduated from Wilmington High School in 1983 and began working for Wilmington City Schools in 1985. In 1997 she became the main office secretary at the high school before assuming her main role as athletic secretary in 2002. While she was athletic secretary, Seeger had a positive and lasting impact on every Hurricane athlete, coach, and parent that she came in contact with during her tenure. In addition to her work in the athletic department, she also coached girls golf and helped lead the team to the state tournament in 1998 and 1999. Seeger retired from the athletic secretary position in 2018.
Howard was a 2007 graduate of WHS and a three-sport athlete. Howard was a three-time state qualifier in track and field. She was Div. I state runnerup in 2006 and Div. I state champion in 2007 in the discus. She also was a four-year member of the basketball team and a three-year member of the volleyball team. Howard went on to compete at the University of Richmond after graduating and was the Atlantic 10 javelin champion in 2008 and the Atlantic 10 discus champion in 2011.
