READING — Led by Gracie Roy, the Blanchester junior varsity girls basketball team defeated Reading 37-29 Monday night in a non-league game.

Roy had 22 points for the Ladycats.

Kylee Hamm had nine points while the trio of Alayna Davenport, Des Abbott and Josie Wilson scored two points each.
