East Clinton bowlers split matches with Clinton-Massie

WILMINGTON — East Clinton split matches Wednesday with Clinton-Massie at Royal Z Lanes.

The East Clinton girls were 2102 to 1715 winner. Tessa Bosier had a personal best game of 214, breaking her previous best which she bowled on Monday. She finished with a 376 series.

East Clinton led 1441 to 1279 after two team games then averaged 165 for the four baker games to win easily.

Josie Runk (159, 175) had 334 while August Morgan (173, 125) had 298, Leanne Wallace 217 and Natalie Anderson had 216.

On the boys side, Ricky Kempke and Lukas Runk had big days for the Astros but the Falcons came out on top 2809 to 2262.

Kempke had a personal best game of 262 en route to a personal best series of 487.

Runk was nearly as good, bowling games of 221 and 231 for a 452 series.

Denver Day had a 311 two-game set while Brady Gaddis bowled a 257 series.

East Clinton bowls in an all baker game tournament 11 a.m. Saturday in Chillicothe.
