Kelsey makes it 2 straight OAC honors for WC baseball

WESTERVILLE — For the second consecutive week, the Wilmington College baseball team has won an Ohio Athletic Conference weekly award as Evan Kelsey was named the OAC Hitter of the Week on Monday.

The sophomore from Cincinnati hit .476 for the week, with four multi-hit games. Wilmington scored 35 runs and went 2-2 for the week. His best game came against Earlham College where the Roger Bacon High School grad went 3-for-6 with four RBIs and two stolen bases.

Wilmington (6-4) hosts Franklin College today at 3 p.m. and Olivet College for a three-game series at Tewksbury-Delaney Field over the weekend.
