JAMESTOWN — With quick win over Greeneview Monday, the Clinton-Massie tennis team continued its unbeaten start to the 2022 season.

The Falcons won easily 5-0 and now stand 6-0 on the season.

The win for Noel Gasaway at third singles was the first time she’d played as a singles player.

Coach Julie Kirby said Addison Swope at first singles played with confidence.

“It was nice to see Addison playing her style of game with strong baseline shots and her serve was really working out well,” Kirby said. “(Maria) Jones had a great game as well. She is a really smart player and has spot-on placement.”

Mikayla Wonderly and Brylie Green won in straight sets.

“This pair works really well together,” said Kirby. “Wonderly brings the experience of the first doubles court as a three-year veteran and Green is just an amazing team player who really thinks through the game.”
