CMMS boys third at New Richmond Invitational

NEW RICHMOND – The Clinton-Massie Middle School boys track and field team finished third Monday at the New Richmond Invitational.

The host Lions had 111 points while Goshen finished runnersup with 86. Massie had 81 points.

“The boys put together a nice effort at this meet against a tough field, and established 17 new (personal bests) for the season,”said Massie coach Jim Wagner.

Marty Kreider led the way for CM with a first in the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash and the anchor leg on the 4×200-meter relay. Also on the team were Eli Stiverson, Isaac Elliott and Connor Stulz.

Richie Federle won the 800-meter run and Stulz finished first in the long jump.
