ADAMS TOWNSHIP – The Clinton-Massie boys soccer team defeated Wilmington 4-0 Tuesday at Frank Irelan Field in SBAAC American Division action.

The Falcons are 1-0-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the conference.

Wilmington drops to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the American.

Clinton-Massie goals were scored by Trevor McGuiness, Logan Meyers, Rafael Bellucci Marin and Sam Binau.

“The heart and hustle these guys give every game is incomparable,” coach Julio Madrigal said. “Marty Kreider and Donald Brewer had an amazing game (on defense).”

The Falcons led 3-0 at halftime.

”Credit to the Massie players and coaches,” WHS coach Imad El-Macharrafie said. “They have worked hard and are a much improved side over last year. We struggled to follow our game plan in the first half and it showed. Several players improved with more disciplined play in the second half and a better work rate. We look forward to a rematch with the Falcons next month at Alumni Field.”
