BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester boys soccer team was defeated by Georgetown 6-2 Thursday in SBAAC National Division soccer at Barbour Memorial Field.

The loss puts Blanchester at 2-6-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the National.

Georgetown improves to 7-4-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the conference.

The Wildcats lost the first meeting this season between the two schools 7-0.
