WHS JV boys split season golf finale

MORROW — The Wilmington High School junior varsity boys golf team ended its season by splitting a match with Lebanon and Little Miami at Bel-Wood Country Club.

Wilmington had 228 while Lebanon posted a 213 and Little Miami shot a 235.

“This has been a very enjoyable group to be around,” WHS coach Kerry Wilkinson said. “The environment they’ve created with their work ethic and desire to improve has not only been fun to watch, but has also been great to be surrounded by daily.”

Dylan Cole was the WHS medalist with a 54.

Devon Snyder had a 57 and Jaden Snyder followed with a 58. Dirk Rinehart had a season-best 59. Brayden Smith shot a 67 and Cole Fickert came in wih a 68.
