NEW RICHMOND — The Wilmington High School volleyball team picked up its second SBAAC American Division win of the season Thursday night.

The Lady Hurricane held off New Richmond 26-24, 14-25, 25-20, 27-25 to improve to 7-9 overall and 2-5 in the American.

The Lady Lions are 4-13 overall and 0-6 in league play.

Wilmington’s junior varsity team kept up its winning ways with a two-set win over New Richmond.

The WHS JV is 15-1 on the year.
