WILMINGTON — The East Clinton freshman volleyball team defeated Wilmington 25-13, 25-21 Monday at Fred Summers Court.

“I expect great things out of them in the years to come,” EC coach Bob Malone said.

Aubrie Simpson had three digs. Megan Tong finished with a kill, two aces, two assists and two digs. Savannah Tolle contributed six aces, an assist and 10 digs.

Lauren Stonewall had a kill, two assists and four digs. Cadence Howard chipped in with two kills and a block. Eryn Bowman recorded a kill, two blocks and five digs. Trinity Bain had an ace and eight digs.
