Olympic Gold medalist Butch Reynolds will be the keynote speaker at the Wilmington High School boys basketball team Tip-Off Dinner 6 p.m. Friday at the WHS auditeria.
First-year WHS head coach Matt Kramer will introduce the 2019-20 team and share his thoughts on the upcoming season.
Reynolds, an Ohio State University graduate, set a world record in the 400-meter dash in 1988, a mark that stood for 11 years. He won a Gold Medal in the 4×400-meter relay at the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics.
Tickets can be purchased for the event at the Wilmington High School athletic department. Cost is $20.
