GOSHEN — The Blanchester bowling teams were defeated in their season opening matches Wednesday by Goshen at Eastgate Lanes.

The boys were defeated 2,131 to 2,085. Josh Allen had 431 to lead the Wildcats. Orin Potts had a 400 series. Bryan Brewer, Brian Miller, Dakota Abney and Jacob Shelton also bowled for Blanchester.

The BHS girls lost their match 1,554 o 1,269. Bri Haun led Blanchester with a 254 while Aleah Wells had a 235. Kylie Campbell, Leeann Stannus, Jill Richardson and Madison Pembleton also bowled for Blanchester.
