BATAVIA — The Blanchester bowling teams opened SBAAC National Division play Thursday by splitting matches with Bethel-Tate.

The BHS boys were victorious 2,221 to 1,658 while the Blan girls lost 1,774 to 1,278.

For the Ladycats, Aleah Wells had a 244 series with Bri Haun totaling 214.

For the Wildcat boys, Josh Allen finished with 459 in two games, including a 258. Brian Miller had a personal best game of 212 en route to a 381 series.
