WILMINGTON — The East Clinton boys bowling team picked up its first win of the season Monday over Felicity 1,980 to 1,617 at Royal Z Lanes.

Freddy Morgan led the Astros with a 404 series (232, 172) while Patrick Dotson had 386 (190, 196) and Grant Wisecup had a 216 game en route to a 354 series.

East Clinton’s girls were defeated by Felicity 1,451 to 1,432 in a tightly-contested match.

Tessa Bosier had 266 (143, 123) and Josie Runk finished with 264 (141, 123). August Morgan had a 131 game.

The Lady Astros trailed big early then battled back to have a shot going in to the final baker game.
