LEES CREEK — Greenon went 5-0 and won the East Clinton Duals Friday night at ECHS.

The Astros were fifth in the six-team event. North College Hill was runnerup and was followed by Greeneview, Williamsburg, EC and West Union.

East Clinton’s John Cline was 5-0 at 170 pounds with three pins in the tournament.

The Astros defeated West Union 17-14 then lost to NCH 48-24, Williamsburg 30-15, Greeneview 41-6 and Greenon 39-12.

Cooper Rack had two pins at 106 and 113. Josh Cline had two wins with one pin at 145 and Timmi Mahanes had two wins at 160.

Zack Vest won a match at 145/152 and Jayson Edison posted at win at 220/285.

The Astros will be back in action Thursday in a tri-match at Adena with Unioto.
