The seventh grade girls basketball at Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School defeated Mt. Orab 39-22 Monday night.

Rylee Long led Wilmington with 19 points while Brynn Conley finished with 10 points.

Lilly Trentman had 4 points and Lauren Diels, Lilly Branham and Mia Hollingsworth scored 2 points each.

Coach Brian Long said the team started slow but the defense “got us going.” Long added everyone played well in the victory.
