There are five returning letter-winners this season for the Clinton-Massie girls track and field team.
The top returning team members are Emma Muterspaw, Nora Voisey and Courtney Fisher.
Dean Richardson is in his sixth season as the girls varsity head coach.
Clinton-Massie was sixth in the 2019 SBAAC American Division Track and Field Championship meet. Gone from that team are Rylee Richardson, Molly Lynch, Ally Wellman, AJ Houseman, Kaylynn Woolverton and Carly Moritz among others.
Coaches in the program include boys head coach Scott Rolf, assistants Jordan Phipps and Forrest Goings, and middle school coaches Jim Wagner, Jimmy Brady and Matt Hudson.
Richardson said Wilmington and New Richmond are the league favorites this year. His team is young but improving.
”We are a young team but I really like how hard we are working.,” he said. “We just need to continue to work hard in practice and we will see improvements throughout the season.”
