NEW CONCORD — The Wilmington College men’s lacrosse team was defeated at Muskingum Wednesday night in its last weekday contest of the season 16-2.

Austin Young scored two goals in the fourth period for Wilmington. Muskingum led 7-0 at halftime.

Reed Beavers had 15 saves in goal for Wilmington. He leads the Ohio Athletic Conference with 155.

Wilmington is back in action against Ohio Northern University for last home game of the season 1 p.m. Saturday.
