DEER PARK — The Blanchester boys soccer team was defeated by Deer Park 11-1 Thursday in a non-league game in Cincinnati.

Shane Akers had the only BHS goal, approximately six minutes into the match, coach Kyle Hamilton said.

The Wildcats are 0-4-1 on the year. Deer Park was strong and well-coached, Hamilton added.
