Wilmington took a 19-16 advantage, and after losing three straight points, the Quakers regained a 23-21 advantage on a kill from Sydney Geibel and a Wooster attack error. The hosts then delivered the knockout punch, closing out the third set and the match by winning 5-of-6 points.
Christina Yarian led Wilmington with seven kills. Andi Dolven dished out 17 assists while Blake O’Brien had a dozen digs.
