There has been a change to the ticket sale plans for Clinton-Massie’s varsity football game Friday night at Steubenville.
According to CM athletic director Cindy Running, tickets will be available at the gate Friday night for $7, for both adults and students.
Running said presale tickets will be available today and Thursday at CMHS. Tickets will be on sale today from 2:30 to 5 p.m. in the athletic office and then from 5 to 8 p.m. in the press box at Frank Irelan Field.
In addition, Running says tickets will be available to purchase from 2:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the high school gym.
Cost of the presale tickets are $6 for adults and $2 for students.
At Steubenville, gates will open at 5:45 p.m. Parking is available in the Kroger part lot as well as a church parking lot across from the school. Cost of parking is $3, Steubenville AD Lynn Meyer said.
Meyer said there is roadway construction in the Steubenville area. There is construction with Rt. 7 North near Brilliant going to one lane. She said Rt. 70 “always has construction.” The Bridgeport exit off Rt. 70 is closed to Rt. 7, so take I-470 to get to Rt. 7, Meyer said.
Clinton-Massie opened its 2015 season Friday night with a 51-7 win over Blanchester in the 51st meeting for the Cider Keg. The Falcons lead the series 33-18.
Steubenville was a 53-0 winner over Cleveland John F. Kennedy High School Thursday night. JFK is a Div. II school. Steubenville plays three teams out of state, Washington D.C. St John’s Sept. 11, Brooke (W. Va.) Oct. 9 and Cardinal O’Hara (N.Y.) Oct. 23. Currently, Steubenville has just nine games listed on its schedule.
